Captain Patrick and the boat

Patrick is a full-time guide whose published biography describes three decades of local fishing experience. The service uses a 24-foot bay boat with a 300-horsepower Mercury and Raymarine electronics. The main description recommends up to four guests. Caloosa also works with other captains when Patrick is unavailable.

Possible targets include snook, redfish, trout, tarpon, tripletail, sharks and seasonal nearshore species. Posted fares are $600 for four hours, $800 for six and $1,200 for eight. Eight-hour tarpon outings are also listed at $1,200.

Rate cards advertise a $100 fifth-guest option, while the main boat description says four guests. Confirm the boat assignment and approved party size before booking five. Larger groups may use multiple boats. A 6% booking fee is listed separately.

The charter provides fishing equipment and license coverage. Legal retained fish can be cleaned, bagged and iced, although catch and release is encouraged. Bring bottled water, snacks, sun protection and non-marking footwear. Ask about restroom access and child-sized life jackets.
