Capt. Marvel Charters is an owner-operated offshore fishing business based on Isles of Capri near Naples. Tom Marvel Sr. and Christine founded it in 1981. The current owners named on the website are Clarence and Susan Fleck, continuing the operation’s long local history.

Captain and vessel
Clarence began running Capt. Marvel in 2011 after operating another offshore charter boat. Capt. Marvel is a 43-foot custom sportfisherman with a sixteen-foot beam. It has an enclosed cabin, dinette, private restroom, shaded cockpit and chairs for seated fishing. Trips carry up to six passengers.
Fishing trips
The half-day format lasts five hours and generally fishes eight to fifteen miles offshore. A full day lasts nine hours, commonly running from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and reaching twenty to thirty-five miles out. The business also describes seasonal forty-eight-hour trips.
