A local family business
Joe Burnsed Sr. started the charter service at Blind Pass on Sanibel in 1987. Joe Jr. grew up on the island and brings decades of local water experience. The business remains focused on small private outings planned directly with the captain.
Choose the length and activities
Two-, three-, four-, six- and eight-hour trips are offered. Short outings are promoted for young anglers; longer trips allow more fishing time or a combination of activities. Snook, redfish, trout and seasonal tarpon are among the targets. Shelling, dolphin watching and lunch at Cabbage Key can also be discussed.
Who the trips suit
The operator welcomes beginners, experienced anglers, children and pets. Mention each guest’s age and any mobility needs when choosing a trip. The reviewed pages do not give a clear current boat model or passenger limit, so request those details along with the departure plan.
Booking and included items
The boat, tackle and captain’s service are included. Call for a dated quote, since a current public rate table was not confirmed. Cash, checks, cards and Venmo are listed payment methods. Confirm fishing-license coverage, drinks, fish cleaning, deposits and cancellation rules before reserving. Explain whether your priority is fishing or a mixed family day so the schedule fits.
Details checked September 29, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
