How a day is planned
Departure time depends on tides, recent fishing and the chosen species. Half days are about four hours, three-quarter days six hours and full days usually eight to nine hours. Possible targets include tarpon, snook, redfish, cobia and permit. The captain considers requested fishing areas when conditions make them practical.

Tackle choices
The operator supplies rods, reels, bait, tackle and fishing-license coverage. Guests may bring preferred tackle after discussing it with the captain. The site recommends medium to medium-heavy conventional outfits and commonly uses seven- or eight-weight fly rods, with heavier leaders where fish can reach mangrove cover.
Food and catch handling
Iced coolers and bottled water are provided. Bring your own lunch, snacks and additional drinks. Catch-and-release fishing is common, while keeping a legal catch should be discussed in advance. Cleaning retained fish can affect the return schedule.
