The family behind the fleet
Jimmy moved to Destin with his family in 1956 and describes a childhood spent around the docks. The operator credits him with more than 50 years of experience. Brandy began helping with knots, bait and boat cleaning at 11 and took her first deckhand job at 16. Captain AJ is also introduced on the company website, which describes more than 20 years of Gulf experience and tournament fishing.
Two boats, different group sizes
The 5th Day is a 40-foot Guidry sportfisher for up to six passengers. Its air-conditioned cabin and onboard restroom are useful considerations for families deciding between an open boat and a cabin boat. The company specializes in trips lasting four to eight hours aboard this vessel and welcomes children, beginners and experienced anglers.
DiscipleShip is a 46-foot Viking sportfisher. The operator lists capacity for up to 15 passengers on single-day charters and up to six on multi-day trips. It has an air-conditioned cabin, freshwater and restrooms. Confirm which boat and captain are assigned when reserving; the two capacities are not interchangeable.
Trips and published starting prices
