The captain and boat
Captain Cliff describes fishing local water since childhood. The published boat is a 22-foot Pathfinder Tournament Edition bay boat. The operation also mentions Lucy as part of the experience. Ask who will be aboard and where your particular trip begins.
Trip prices and group size
Four-hour trips are listed at $600 and six-hour trips at $800. Both are advertised for up to four people. These outings focus on the physical challenge of large goliath grouper, and an angler may need assistance during the fight.
Family and custom options
The operator does not recommend the heavy-fish fight for young children, though children may accompany a trip. Custom plans can include other fishing, wildlife viewing, shelling, sightseeing, or a Cabbage Key stop. Discuss an appropriate plan for everyone in the group.
Before you book
Confirm tackle, bait, license coverage, drinks, cancellation terms, and the actual launch location. The website contains older statements about goliath harvest rules, so use the captain’s current instructions and applicable regulations when planning handling and release. A listed target is not a promise that a fish can be kept.
Details checked September 29, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
