Gulfstream Fishing in Key West

Gulfstream Fishing operates the 56-foot Gulfstream IV in Key West. Guests can buy a place on a shared fishing trip or reserve the whole boat for a private group. The larger passenger capacity makes this a useful option for groups that cannot fit on a six-passenger charter.

Shared fishing trips

The website lists a six-hour party-boat trip from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at $69.95 per person. It advertises up to 40 anglers on shared trips. Fishing takes place over bottom structure, with snapper, grouper, jacks, mackerel and grunts among possible catches.

Private charters are listed for five hours, with a choice of 8, 9 or 10 a.m. departure. The published capacity is up to 45 guests. The comparison page shows a whole-boat fare of $2,000 to $2,200. Confirm the exact quote and how many guests can fish at once.

Included and optional

The operator lists crew, rods, tackle, bait and fishing-license coverage. Bring your own food and drinks. Catering can be discussed for private outings. The business recommends a cooler for taking legal catches home, plus a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Before booking

Clarify whether you want individual tickets or exclusive use of the boat. Ask about check-in, accessibility, fish cleaning and cancellation terms. The operator says texting receives the fastest response. Confirm the boarding point and current fare when you reserve.
