Boat and fishing range
The published boat is a SeaVee 290 Open powered by twin 300-horsepower Mercury engines. The business advertises federal permits, insurance and license coverage for its guests. Eight- to ten-hour trips typically travel 40–60 miles offshore for grouper, snapper, blackfin tuna, African pompano and other fish.
Published prices
Offshore trips are listed at $2,000–$2,400. A seasonal red snapper option is $2,800 and describes a longer run. Captain service on your own boat is listed at $500 using your tackle or $700 with the captain’s equipment. Confirm the duration and inclusions of that separate service.
Payment and cancellations
A $200 deposit holds the date. The published policy requires cancellation at least one week before the trip to keep the deposit refundable. Captain-cancelled weather trips receive a deposit refund. Card transactions carry a 4% fee; cash and checks avoid that fee. Mate gratuity is separate.
Plan for a long day
Ask for the precise dock, passenger limit, restroom arrangement and food-and-drink list. Discuss any mobility concerns directly rather than relying on a general description of accessibility. Confirm which targets are realistic and legally available for your date, especially when booking a seasonal offshore trip.
