The captain and boat

Brandt holds a U.S. Coast Guard 50-ton Master license, according to the operator. The boat is a 24-foot Ranger Bay 2400 with a 300-horsepower Yamaha and a shaded T-top. It accommodates up to six passengers. Larger parties require additional boats, arranged separately.

Fishing and trip prices

Inshore fishing covers mangrove shorelines and grass flats for snook, redfish, trout, snapper and other coastal species. Published prices for one to four people are $600 for four hours, $900 for six and $1,200 for eight. Add $50 for each fifth or sixth passenger.

Combination trips involving Cayo Costa or Cabbage Key need at least six hours because the boat ride can take about an hour each way. A lunch stop also uses time that would otherwise be available for fishing.

Included supplies

Rods, reels, tackle, bait, fishing-license coverage, ice and bottled water are included. Legal retained fish are filleted and bagged. Bring food, other drinks, non-slip footwear, lightweight clothing, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen lotion.

Reservations and weather

A $150 deposit holds most charter dates. Dolphin tours require full payment when booked. Customer cancellations with less than 48 hours’ telephone notice and no-shows can incur the full fare. Weather decisions rest with the captain; the deposit is refunded if a weather-cancelled trip cannot be rescheduled.

Details checked September 29, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
