From Biscayne docks to offshore guiding

Saavedra began fishing around Biscayne Bay, acquired his first boat in 2018 and joined a professional sailfish team in 2022. His current service welcomes anglers with different experience levels and emphasizes an active search for offshore fish.

The offshore page describes a 33-foot L&H with a background in the Bad Company fishing program. Ask which boat will run your chosen trip, along with seating, shade and restroom details. Offshore reservations are advertised for a maximum of six passengers.

Published offshore prices

Four hours are listed at $1,250, six at $1,450 and eight at $1,650. These amounts are per trip, not per person. Hours run from leaving the dock to returning, so travel is part of the booked time.

The operator highlights mahi trips from May through October, using a method that covers water while looking for fish. Tuna, wahoo and swordfish also appear in its offshore information. A dedicated swordfish plan should be confirmed separately rather than assumed to fit any short charter.

Equipment and personal supplies

The offshore inclusion list covers the captain, licenses, tackle, coolers, ice and filleting. It specifically says filleting does not include gutting or scaling. Food, sunblock and gratuity are outside the listed price, with twenty percent described as customary.

Ask about bait, drinks and any specialty-trip additions when confirming the fare. Bring enough food and suitable clothing for the agreed hours. A sunset cruise is also available, but it is a separate service with a different purpose and schedule.

Confirm the pickup rather than guessing

The business serves Miami, North Miami and Key Biscayne. Its Coral Gables contact location should not be treated as a departure dock. Have Gabriel send the exact marina, meeting point and arrival instructions.

Phone or email with your date, party size and target. Request the deposit and cancellation conditions before reserving. If a faster-paced mahi search is your priority, discuss sea conditions and your group’s comfort with moving between offshore areas.

Details checked October 4, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
