From South Miami to professional guiding
Lincoln says he grew up in South Miami near Biscayne Bay and spent many weekends fishing Florida Bay and Islamorada. He obtained his captain's license at eighteen and became a professional guide at twenty-two. His stated focus is sight fishing with light tackle.
The fishing descriptions span Miami, the Everglades and the Keys. Those places involve different travel and launch arrangements. Identify the area you want to explore before reserving, rather than assuming every advertised fish and boat departs from one Miami dock.

Three boats for different outings
A Hell's Bay Professional carries up to two guests and is used for stalking fish in shallow water. Lincoln notes that it works especially well with one angler. His 17-foot Maverick HPX-V also takes two and is described as the main tarpon skiff.
A 20-foot Cuda Craft bay boat is listed for four guests and family fishing. The extra passenger space makes it a different choice from the two skiffs. Ask which vessel suits your group and the proposed conditions before comparing rates.
Skiff and bay-boat prices
Published skiff rates are $600 for four hours, $750 for six and $900 for eight. Bay-boat rates are $800, $950 and $1,100 for those respective durations. A four-hour nighttime tarpon outing is displayed at $800.
Confirm the total for the selected boat, date and fishing area. Lincoln accepts cash, credit cards, checks and Venmo. His cancellation wording refers to a deposit, but the reviewed rate page does not specify its amount, so establish that before payment.
Fishing equipment and personal supplies
Rods, tackle, licenses, a cooler with ice, fuel and water are listed as provided. Guests supply lunch and snacks. Bring polarized sunglasses, sun protection, a hat, suitable fishing clothing and a rain jacket as recommended by the operator.
You may bring your own rod. Lincoln asks guests to discuss its leader setup for the intended fish. That conversation is useful when changing between permit, bonefish, tarpon or backcountry fishing, rather than using one rig for every pursuit.
Refunds, weather and contact
The published guest-cancellation policy gives a full refund a month before the trip. For later cancellation, the deposit is retained toward a future date. Ask how a rescheduled booking is arranged and whether any time limit applies.
Lincoln says he will not force an outing in conditions he considers unsafe. Agree on how a weather change affects your reservation. Call 305-342-1749 or email capt.lincolnrodriguezcharters@aol.com with your preferred date, party size and fishing style, then obtain exact launch and boarding instructions.
