The current captain and boat
Captain Nick Cremasco grew up in Jensen Beach and learned the waters outside St. Lucie Inlet. His published background includes charter and tournament work, with experience ranging from sailfish tactics to anchoring for mutton snapper.
DayMaker is described as a 2007 SeaVee with a single 500-horsepower Cummins engine. Its seating includes benches and beanbags, with a hardtop and three-sided weather protection. The website also mentions affiliated boats, so verify which vessel and captain your reservation covers. Older stories about Pat Price describe the operation’s history, not a guaranteed current crew assignment.

Offshore choices from the inlet
The regular fishing menu includes sailfish, mahi, tuna, kingfish, wahoo, snapper, grouper and cobia. Nick can use trolling or kite-fishing methods for sailfish and work bottom structure for suitable species. The exact combination depends on the day and your priorities.
The online swordfish booking describes a daytime departure around 7 a.m. with at least eight hours of fishing, listed at $2,200. Other pages discuss nighttime swordfishing. Specify daytime or nighttime when asking for availability because the equipment, timing and trip plan differ.
Inclusions and booking terms
Published inclusions cover tackle, bait, ice, required fishing licenses, fish cleaning and foul-weather gear. Food and beverages can be picked up by arrangement, with reimbursement due afterward. The FAQ says water is supplied, but guests should plan their own snacks and preferred drinks.
DayMaker offers half, three-quarter and full-day choices. Ask the office to quote the exact boat, passenger count and duration. Its written policy refers to a 14-day cancellation window and deposits of $500 for a half day or $750 per day for other trips. Have the operator explain when the deposit is charged and how it applies to your booking.
Make the arrangements before arrival
Weather decisions belong to the captain. The website says captain-cancelled trips for unsafe weather or boat issues do not forfeit the deposit. Discuss a backup date if your schedule permits, especially for an outing that needs a long offshore run.
Pack lunch, sun protection, a warm layer during cooler months and a cooler for any legal fish you take home. The operator asks guests not to bring handheld GPS units. If you need a particular amenity, have young children aboard or want a specific technique, raise that request before selecting the trip.
Details checked October 4, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
