Captain Tim and the World Cat

The boat has twin 150-horsepower Yamaha engines, a 34-gallon livewell and a drinks cooler. Its twin-hull layout is different from the larger cabin boats along Destin Harbor. Ask Captain Tim about shade and onboard facilities if either is essential for your group.

Boarding is at East Pass Marina near the Boathouse Oyster Bar, roughly half a mile east of the Destin Bridge. Get the exact slip and arrival time when your trip is confirmed.

Trip length and fishing style

The operator offers Gulf fishing with bottom fishing and trolling options. Six hours is described as its most popular choice. A longer outing leaves more time to reach fishing grounds and change locations if the first stop is slow.

Discuss your target fish before selecting a duration. Reef fishing and trolling for traveling fish use different approaches. The captain can help match the plan to the season, water conditions and the ages of the anglers. Older season dates on a charter website should not be used as a current harvest calendar.

Rates and the extra-passenger question

The rates page lists $225 per hour, including $1,125 for five hours, $1,350 for six, $1,575 for seven and $1,800 for eight. The base group is up to four people, with a maximum of six.

There are conflicting extra-person charges on the site: one page says $50 per guest beyond four and another says $100. Request the full price for five or six guests before reserving. The main repeated contact number is 850-685-1932.

Bait, equipment and packing

The listed supplies include fishing licenses, tackle, rods, ice, cut or frozen bait, bottled water and fish cleaning. The crew can catch live bait during the trip, which uses part of the booked time. Buying bait from a bait boat is another option and can add a separate cost.

Bring your preferred snacks and drinks, a hat and sunscreen. Keep space available in your vehicle for a cooler of cleaned fish. Ask which bags should come aboard.

Cancellation and weather

The published policy uses a seven-day cancellation window and describes a $200 deposit charge for a late cancellation, with the full trip charged for a no-show. Captain-cancelled weather trips are not charged. Have those terms confirmed with your reservation, especially if you are booking far ahead.

Details checked October 1, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
