Anthony Belmonte and the Contender
Anthony was raised in Madeira Beach and describes working summers on his uncle's commercial boat from age ten. His introduction gives more than 15 years running fishing charters. Beginners and experienced offshore anglers are welcomed.
The boat page lists an open 36-foot Contender with triple Suzuki 300 engines. Onboard coolers and dry storage are available. Ask about shade, restroom arrangements and passenger limits, especially for the longest offshore runs.

Fishing rates and range
Advertised trips are $1,000 for four hours, $1,600 for six, $2,100 for eight, $2,700 for ten and $3,200 for twelve. The corresponding descriptions run from nearby Gulf grounds to trips reaching 80 miles or more.
A fourteen-hour deep-drop trip is listed at $4,000, and sixteen-hour Pulley Ridge fishing at $4,600 for up to six. Electric rods and reels are described for deep dropping. These extended trips warrant a direct discussion of travel, conditions and physical demands.
Targets and included supplies
Targets vary by range and season, including hogfish, snapper, grouper, kingfish, mahi mahi, tuna and wahoo. Current retention depends on the actual species and rules, so similar grouper names in the menu should not be treated as interchangeable.
Fishing gear and cleaning or bagging eligible catches are included. Water is available, but guests provide meals and other drinks. Use the boat's coolers for the trip and leave a take-home fish cooler in your vehicle to avoid crowding the deck.
Booking and cancellation
Call or text Anthony for dates and the final quote. Cash is preferred, with cards, PayPal, Zelle and Venmo also accepted. Card payments must be completed before departure; ask about any payment fees and deposit amount.
The FAQ requests at least seven days' notice for a deposit refund. Operator cancellations for weather, mechanical problems or other unforeseen issues are described as refundable. Confirm the dock at 503 150th Avenue and arrival instructions when reserving.
Details checked October 9, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
