Fishing with Backwater Bob
Bobby describes helping vacationers and local guests enjoy the backwaters. The standard boat fishing program welcomes children older than five and allows up to four people. Ask which type of trip suits the abilities and interests of the people joining you.
The wider business includes guided kayak fishing, kayak camping and support for Wilderness Waterway travel. These are different bookings from a regular fishing charter. Discuss paddling experience, equipment and the exact support required rather than applying boat-trip prices to a kayak adventure.

Two boat roles and kayak equipment
The biography lists a 24-foot Carolina Skiff with a Yamaha 150, used for mothership kayak fishing, camping shuttles and some guiding. A 21-foot Cobia with live wells, trolling motor and Power-Pole is described for fishing and sightseeing.
Hobie Mirage Drive kayaks are listed for the kayak fishing program. Confirm the boat or kayak assigned to your reservation and its capacity. For larger parties, Bobby may use both boats, but the number permitted for a shuttle with gear should not be confused with the four-person fishing limit.
Standard boat fishing rates
The published fishing prices cover two people: $575 for four hours, $675 for six and $775 for eight. Each extra guest adds $50, up to four total. Have Bobby provide a separate current quote for kayak guiding, camping support or a custom sightseeing plan.
The fishing package lists a license, rods, reels, tackle, bait and a cooler with ice. Legal catches can be filleted and bagged. Guests are asked to bring food, sun protection and a cooler to transport their fish. An Everglades park pass may also be required.
Departure and other locations
The standard meeting location is Glades Haven Marina, 801 Copeland Avenue in Everglades City. The business says Goodland, Naples, Marco Island and Isles of Capri pickups may be arranged. Agree on the actual launch before comparing travel times from your accommodation.
Related services include shelling, sunset cruises, equipment rentals and shuttles to selected islands or Flamingo. Island access, permits and camping preparations need their own planning. A listed destination is an invitation to ask about current availability, rather than confirmation that every route is always usable.
Booking and deposit rules
Call 239-293-7743 or use the official contact form. A $100 deposit is listed for boat fishing. The published policy imposes a $100 fee for cancellation within fourteen days, while describing rescheduling or deposit refunds for weather or a family emergency beyond the parties' control.
Payment options listed include cash, check, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay and cards with a service fee. Confirm the current policy and any extra charge before paying. The website links to a sister Steinhatchee service, so specify the Southwest Florida outing and meeting location when contacting Bobby.
