A full-time guide and photographer
Willy grew up fishing Central Florida after his family moved from Guam to Orlando. His biography describes discovering sight fishing for redfish and later learning fly casting after working near Flip Pallot and Chico Fernandez on a television production.
Photography is part of the service, with professional-grade digital catch photographs listed among the inclusions. Willy also writes about the fishery. Ask how pictures are delivered after the outing so you know what is included in that part of the experience.

Two skiffs with distinct uses
The fleet page identifies an 18-foot 2022 Maverick HPX Carbon Edition with a Yamaha 115 SHO for longer runs, larger water and ocean-side tarpon fishing. A 17-foot custom carbon-fiber tiller skiff with a 30-horsepower Suzuki is used for especially shallow backcountry water.
Standard rates cover two anglers. Larger groups can be arranged using additional boats with other captains. Discuss boat choice with Willy, especially if your priority is tarpon rather than searching very shallow flats.
Fishing without live bait
Willy explicitly does not use bait. Guests fish flies or artificial lures, with redfish, trout, black drum, tarpon and snook among the targets. The guide poles the skiff to position anglers for opportunities they can see.
His catch, photograph and release policy means this is not a fish-for-dinner charter. Fly anglers are encouraged to practice double hauling before their trip, particularly for wind and faster presentations. Willy offers casting help but asks guests to prepare where possible.
Prices and included equipment
Four hours are listed at $500, six at $600 and eight at $700 for two anglers. Single-angler discounts require a conversation. License coverage, park permits, spinning or fly gear, flies, lures, an iced cooler, water, sunscreen and digital photographs are advertised as included.
Bring polarized sunglasses, a hat, rainwear and lunch or snacks. Willy asks guests to avoid black-soled shoes and to apply spray sunscreen before boarding rather than spraying the deck. You may bring a favorite rod after confirming the setup.
Reservation and refund rules
A $100 deposit is due within seven days of reserving, and the operator says the date is not confirmed without it. The balance is paid at the end by cash, Venmo, Zelle, U.S. check or credit card.
The cancellation wording uses a seven-day notice requirement, while captain-cancelled unsafe-weather trips receive a deposit refund. Have Willy clarify the exact guest deadline when booking. Call or text 321-303-7805 or email nativeflycharters@gmail.com, then get your chosen ramp and start time directly.
Details checked October 11, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
