Taylor Smith and the boat

Taylor grew up fishing Michigan waters and moved to Florida in 2017. His biography describes a growing focus on saltwater flats fishing. Chris Layman brings a longstanding Tampa boating background to the business.

The FAQ describes a 25-foot center-console bay boat. Although it mentions a larger vessel and fishing-license capacity, it clearly limits paying charter passengers to six under the captain's license. Use six as the advertised reservation limit.

Fishing and adventure prices

Inshore fishing is listed at $500 for four hours, $700 for six and $900 for eight. The packages advertise equipment and up to six people. Ask about snook, redfish, trout, jacks or other seasonal targets when choosing the launch.

Adventure cruises cost $400 for four hours or $800 for eight. These combine island hopping, possible dolphin or manatee viewing and limited fishing. Pick this option if the group prefers several activities instead of a full fishing day.

Included supplies and fish cleaning

Rods, reels, tackle, bait, fishing license coverage and bottled water are supplied. Guests bring food and other drinks in plastic containers or cans. Smoking and glass containers are prohibited aboard.

Legal fish may be cleaned, but the operator says some ramp locations do not permit it. Settle the cleaning arrangement before planning a take-home meal. Gratuities are separate from the advertised charter price.

Deposit, arrival and contact options

A 50-percent deposit secures the reservation. More than seven days' cancellation notice gives a full refund; seven days to 48 hours gives a 50-percent refund; under 48 hours gives none. Unsafe-weather cancellations allow rescheduling or a refund.

Use the website's contact or booking tools for current availability. Guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes early. The launch may change with conditions, so confirm the Anclote dock or alternative ramp and keep a reachable phone with the booking.

Details checked October 9, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
