Alex Moran's move to saltwater
Alex grew up fishing ponds around St. Louis before learning to fly fish in the Ozarks. A Keys trip and a tarpon on fly helped shape his plans to move to Florida. His biography dates that move to the Fort Myers area in 2016.
He describes spending his free time poling mangrove creeks and flats around Matlacha, Pine Island and the barrier islands outside Charlotte Harbor. Flats, backcountry and after dark

Shelling, photography and nature tours are priced separately. The rate page lists $375 for four hours or $500 for six. These are sightseeing options, so reserve a fishing charter explicitly if using rods is the purpose of your visit.
The reservation and refund terms
A $100 deposit holds the day. The published policy refunds it when cancellation is more than 30 days before the trip. Inside that window, the deposit is forfeited or the date can be moved by arrangement. Ask how captain-canceled weather trips are handled, since that situation is not fully explained by the customer cancellation wording.
