Beginner fishing or a marsh trip

The fishing page distinguishes a three-hour family or beginner outing from a four-hour marsh trip for more experienced anglers. A small group can choose the pace that best suits its experience. The listed fishing maximum is three guests.

Redfish, spotted seatrout, flounder, black drum, whiting and sharks are among the possible catches. Cobia and tarpon also appear in the operator’s broader list. Tide, season and weather influence which opportunities are realistic.

The published fishing rates

A three-hour beginner trip is listed at $350 for two guests. Four hours costs $400 for two, six hours $700 and eight hours $900. A third fishing guest adds $50. Extra time is advertised at $150 per hour.

Those are fishing prices. Wildlife and custom sightseeing tours have their own hourly charges and sometimes different guest limits. Confirm the correct capacity if your party wants to combine activities or includes someone who will not fish.

Gear and scenery

Fishing packages include rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice and licenses. Guests can bring food and drinks, with coolers available. Ask about the most suitable bag size and personal gear before boarding.

Wildlife tours explore the waters around Amelia and Cumberland islands, with opportunities to see birds and other animals. A custom outing may include parts of those tours if the captain approves and the tide allows. Wildlife is never certain, so choose the trip for the experience rather than one promised sighting.

Cancellation and confirmation

The posted policy gives a full refund when the captain cancels for weather or other reasons. It also lists a full refund for a customer cancellation two weeks before the charter. Ask what happens closer to departure and whether any deposit is required.

Call or email Scott with the number of adults and children, the preferred date and the type of fishing. The reviewed pages do not name one fixed dock. Obtain a departure location and arrival time directly from the operator.

Details checked October 2, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
