A larger boat for offshore days
Jason is described as a third-generation captain with local fishing experience. The J-Hook sportfisher has a climate-controlled salon, sofa seating, a refrigerator and a spacious fishing cockpit. Three fighting chairs and a range of Shimano tackle support different fishing methods.
The offshore options include four, six, eight, ten and twelve hours. Overnight and longer bookings are available by arrangement. A short trip and a full Gulf Stream day reach different water, so match your target species to the time you can spend aboard.

Offshore targets and inshore alternatives
Offshore plans can include trolling for mahi, wahoo and tuna or bottom fishing for snapper and grouper. The captain and crew help with bait, tackle, line tangles and handling the catch. Fish cleaning is listed when the boat returns.
The inshore service uses a restored 23-foot Custom SeaCraft with a trolling motor and a T-top that provides some shade. Redfish, trout and flounder are among the advertised inshore possibilities. The site gives conflicting boat descriptions for nearshore trips, so confirm that assignment before booking.
Families, business groups and tournaments
J-Hook advertises groups of up to six on suitable charters. Larger parties can ask about multiple boats. The crew welcomes children and describes teaching fish identification, bait rigging and knots during the outing.
Corporate trips, tournament hires and extended travel are separate arrangements. Catering can be discussed, but it should not be assumed to be included in an ordinary charter. Anyone with boarding or mobility needs should ask about the specific vessel’s layout.
