Two sportfishing vessels

Legendary is a refitted 45-foot sportfish originally built in 2005. Twin Cummins diesels power it, with a published cruise speed around 24 knots. Its cabin has air conditioning, seating, refrigerators and an enclosed head. The cockpit carries fishing equipment, a livewell and coolers.

The Legend is a 50-foot custom Jarrett Bay. The company describes a cruise speed around 28 to 30 knots, air conditioning and a full bathroom. Both boats accommodate up to six passengers. Choose the vessel along with the duration so the quoted price and your booking refer to the same boat.

Offshore fishing plans

The service lists bottom fishing for snapper, grouper and triggerfish. Trolling and other open-water fishing may offer mahi, tuna, wahoo and sailfish. The captain adapts the plan to season and conditions. An advertised species is not automatically available to target or retain on every date.

The booking form accepts a preference for Captain Jimmy Laidler or Captain Brian Middleton, but says captain requests cannot always be guaranteed. Ask who is assigned to your reservation if that matters to you. Longer trips allow different fishing plans and more travel, while the crew helps beginners on standard outings.

Rates for each boat

Legendary lists eight hours at $2,800, ten hours at $3,000 and eleven hours at $3,200. Its 18-hour swordfish trip is shown at $4,800. The Legend lists eight hours at $3,000, ten at $3,200 and eleven at $3,400. Its 18-hour tuna trip is advertised at $5,400.

Standard trips require a $200 deposit in the trip menu, while 18-hour outings require $1,000. The business notes that the actual deposit and availability are confirmed during online booking. Ask how an extended trip schedules departure and return, and whether everyone in your group is ready for that much time offshore.

Supplies and personal preparation

The fare includes fishing licenses, rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, a captain and mate. Fish cleaning is available at the end for legal catches. Cabin facilities can offer a break from the weather, but the fishing itself still takes place outside on the boat.

Bring suitable clothes, sunscreen, sunglasses, drinks, snacks and personal essentials. Discuss meal and rest arrangements for an 18-hour booking. Request a clear marina address and parking directions, as the selected vessel's boarding instructions should govern where you arrive.

Cancellation and weather terms

Call 904-338-7843 with booking questions or changes. Cancellations at least 14 calendar days ahead may qualify for a deposit transfer or refund, subject to processing charges. Inside 14 days, deposits are normally forfeited unless the company approves an exception.

Cancellation within 72 hours, late arrival or a no-show may also leave the guest responsible for the remaining fare. A captain-canceled trip permits rescheduling or a refund under the published policy. Rain or a concerning forecast does not automatically cancel a charter. Wait for a direct decision from the business and confirm all terms before paying.

Details checked October 11, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
