Crowd Pleaser’s cabin and cockpit

The boat has an air-conditioned interior, a galley and two heads. Three fighting chairs provide seated positions for working fish in the cockpit. The six-passenger limit applies to the advertised private fishing bookings.

Ask Rob about the day’s plan and the experience level of everyone aboard. A group of first-time anglers may want a different pace from someone pursuing a particular offshore species. Cabin amenities are useful, but they do not remove the motion of an offshore boat.

Standard trips and special targets

The operator advertises offshore game fishing and separate daytime swordfish trips. Longer custom outings are also mentioned. Explain your target and available time so the crew can distinguish a regular coastal trip from a specialty booking.

One page advertises a three-hour trip from $600, while other descriptions refer to a four-hour half day. Six and eight-hour options also appear. Request a written quote with exact hours, since the name half day is not used consistently throughout the site.

Tackle, bait and catch preparation

The published package includes fishing gear, bait, licenses, ice and water. Fish cleaning is also provided for a legal catch. Guests bring their own food and additional drinks, subject to the boat’s storage arrangements.

Ask whether the quoted bait allowance covers the technique you want, especially on a specialist trip. Confirm any extra fees and crew gratuity before paying. A cooler for taking cleaned fish home may be useful, but check where it can be stored during the outing.

Reserve with Captain Rob

A deposit secures the booking and the balance is paid on the day. The stated policy allows a refund or rebooking for cancellations at least seven days ahead. Weather-related cancellations are described as eligible for a refund or a new date.

Use the North Riverside Drive address to reach the fishing center, then ask for Crowd Pleaser’s current slip and arrival instructions. Tell the crew about children or boarding needs in advance. Bring sun protection and clothing suitable for wind and salt spray.

Details checked October 4, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
