George Gozdz’s route into guiding

George’s biography describes 15 years in emergency medicine before a career centered on fishing. He earned his captain’s license in 2004 and became known through Reel Time Florida Sportsman. Unfathomed followed in 2019, combining fishing, travel and stories about people on the water.

The local charter page identifies the Caymas 281 HB as the fishing platform. Other website photographs show boats used during hosted travel. Confirm the assigned vessel for a Stuart reservation instead of assuming that a large sportfisher pictured elsewhere is included.

River fishing or an offshore plan

The Stuart program offers both inshore and offshore opportunities. Talk with George about the kind of fish and water you want to experience, then let the conditions shape the day. A snook-focused river outing has different demands from a trip outside the inlet.

The charter includes fishing tackle, bait, licenses and ice. The operator also offers photos and footage from the day. Ask how those files are shared and whether any special filming arrangements are needed if recording the trip is important to your group.

Rates are based on two anglers

Published prices are $800 for four hours, $1,000 for six and $1,200 for eight. Those rates cover two anglers. Additional guests are listed at $50 each, with a maximum of four passengers on the advertised local trip.

Discuss food, drinking water, cooler space and fish-cleaning arrangements while booking. Your confirmation should also explain the deposit and cancellation policy. The site’s hosted destination trips have separate arrangements and should not be compared directly with these local day rates.

Request a date, then wait for confirmation

The Fish With Me form is an availability request. The website allows 24 to 48 hours for a response, and a calendar selection alone does not complete a reservation. Wait for George’s reply before making plans that depend on a confirmed departure.

Provide your party size, preferred hours and fishing interests in the first message. Once the outing is agreed, confirm the meeting ramp and weather-contact plan. Hosted Guatemala trips are another part of the business, with their own group sizes, boats and travel terms.

Details checked October 4, 2026, using the operator’s published information. Rates, boats, meeting points and policies can change; confirm the final trip details directly. Listed species describe possible targets, not a guaranteed catch or an open harvest season.
